Mike Humes and George Bredig are back from the American Camping Association (ACA) International Conference which took place early March in Toronto, Canada.

Besides the new information, both Mike and George said that one of the greatest benefits was the interaction with thousands of camping professionals from all over the world. The highlight of the conference was a performance by Peter, Paul, and Mary (minus Mary who was ill). They sang all the songs we love to sing at camp and were surprised that so many people in the audience knew all the words to songs like: “Puff the Magic Dragon,” “Blowing in the Wind,” “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” and many, many more.

They both returned to the winter office in White Plains with renewed enthusiasm and exciting ideas!
