Camp has purchased a 12-passenger, white, Dodge van. With the addition of this vehicle to our existing fleet of 3 buses, 2 vans, and 2 station wagons, we will have a greater ability to take advantage of all the special programs offered around our Adirondack region during the summer. It will also provide us additional transportation to take campers to the trailheads and canoe drop-offs as we explore the mountains, lakes, and rivers by foot, canoe, and mountain bike.

With the great success of our trips out of camp, we have penciled into our schedule more of these excursions. There will be trips to: Montreal, Canada; 1,000 Islands; a water park; Lake Placid to take in the sites of the Olympic Village and events at the Performing Arts Center. In addition there will be more fun with the evening concert series in the park in Saranac Lake. And if that weren’t enough — there are mountains to hike, trails to bike, and rivers and lakes to explore.
