This week of tennis was quite satisfying for both the campers and the counselors. By mid-week all the campers had completed their 1st instructional period, covering ground strokes, while simultaneously beginning the 2nd period which included serving techniques. There were many ranges of skills among the campers, varying from beginners to experienced servers. Each camper was taught in groups according to his or her abilities

In addition, we began our in-camp tennis tournament which was open to all campers wishing to participate. Four different areas of competition were provided: Regis girls, Regis boys, Applejack girls, Applejack boys.

We are also looking forward to the upcoming tennis competitions involving the staff and tournaments with other camps.
