Art and crafts have been a busy place. Campers have been working with clay, making everything from pinch pots to bas relief plaques. Several campers have tried their hand at the potters’ wheel.
The Eagle and Cardinal boys have been making “action figures” of themselves in action at camp. Using foil for the armature, they are using plaster strips to cover their figures.
Many campers have been making watercolor postcards to send home. We looked around us and made drawings of the lake and painted them back in the and studio.
Lanyards have been flying out of the studio with thousands of beads to be threaded into bracelets and necklaces. The Regis campers are making pins from found bark and other natural materials. Thank you campers for teaching us that groups of all sizes can do great work together!
