The sun is shining, the welcome banners are waving, the buses arriving…then the arms open up and the hugging begins. As campers embrace old friends and counselors embrace new campers; all the cabin groups head up to the dining hall for their first dinner, new friendships are already springing forth ushering in a new season. Welcome to Camp Regis Applejack Summer of 2001.

Thank you all for allowing me to share in the wonder of this camp experience. So open are each of you to one another; as you cheered on successes whether it be at a Talent Show, on the Water Ski dock, or on the Athletic Field, as we consoled one another when feelings were low, and as you inspired one another to achieve our personal best. Through it all, you have grown. So be proud of the person you are and keep your sights on the person you are yet to become.
