Dear Camp Regis Families,

I hope you are all as well as can be under the current conditions. I wanted to send on update on the status of camp for this summer. We have been waiting to hear from the state of NY to learn a) whether camps will be allowed to run at all and b) if so, under what conditions and restrictions. Understandably, the state is taking a long time to make this decision so in the absence of that important information, we have still not made a final determination ourselves. As a parent of 4 children who have been at home for the last 2 months, I understand how great it would be for them to get outside and spend some time with friends at camp. On the other hand, it is our responsibility and obligation to provide a safe environment for campers (and their families) and under current conditions, that would be challenging to say the least. A number of camps have already made the decision to cancel this summer. Before we take that step, we want to make every effort to figure out if there is any way that we can run safely. As soon as we have made that decision we will be in touch with you all.

If we are not able to run, or if we do run and you choose not to send your child we will offer two options: 1) a complete refund of what you have already paid or 2) a credit towards the 2021 season.
