This summer was a strange one for us all. COVID-19 locked us into our houses and destroyed any plans we had for this summer. Camp, unfortunately, made the call to cancel our 2020 season for the safety of our campers, camp families, and staff. A week later, the state of New York determined it unsafe for residential camps to run this summer. 
Despite not having our wonderful campers and staff join us this summer we have kept busy preparing camp for next summer. We have also had a ton of planned, and surprise, visits from CRAJ Family members. It was so lovely to walk down memory lane with all of you. A majority of our campers who would have attended this summer have rolled over their enrollment to next summer and are eager to get back to camp!
We have opened our enrollment for the Summer of 2021 and have our new dates and rates up on our website. We have also decided to open up a new 2-week program for campers who have not attended a sleep-away camp before, our aim with this is to give kids and teens a ‘no-thank-you’ portion of camp to see how they like being away from home.
We want to thank all of our Camp Family who have been so supportive this past year and understanding of our decision to cancel this summer. We are also very grateful to the alumni, camp friends, and camp enthusiasts who have donated to our CRAJ Scholarship Fund. Your contributions are going to provide so many kids with the opportunity to experience Camp.
We are so looking forward to next summer and we cannot wait to see all of our campers, staff, and CRAJ Families!!
