The harsh wind and misty rain did not stop the 1994 Regis Applejack staff from completing all the final tasks in preparation for the arrival of nearly 300 campers from all over the world and from across the United States on Tuesday.
Although the weather “dampened” some of our diligent staff, none of the newly-arrived campers seemed to even notice the rain, the wind, or the mud. Shouts of joy and fond remembrances could be heard throughout the camp as each group arrived.
After dinner and a welcome by counselors, staff, and administrators, campers began the process of settling in. As curfew neared, thoughts turned toward the exciting activities that the next day and the next several weeks would bring: hiking, boating, photography, dancing, and many more. Another eventful summer as Camp Regis Applejack has begun!
