Art and crafts have been a busy place. Campers have been working with clay, making everything from pinch pots to bas relief plaques. Several campers have tried their hand at the potters’ wheel. The Eagle and Cardinal boys have been making “action figures” of themselves in action at camp. Using foil for the armature, they are using plaster strips to cover their figures. The Waterfront includes many fun activities such as water aerobics, water polo, water relays, sandcastle building (we found turtle eggs!) and beach parties. A group of swimmers brave the elements three mornings a week at 7 am for the polar bear swim. The “polar bears” include: Ryan Marguiles, Sean McCormick, Tomofumi Nasuno, Michael Salazar, Daniel Winnicki, Chris Giraldo, Kelvin Ainsworth, Ben Levitt and Noah Witke.
