Do To COVID-19 Camp Regis Applejack Cancels 2020 Season

Jun 2, 2020

For the past four months, we at Camp Regis Applejack have attempted to develop a way to safely run this summer despite the fact that the majority of our peer camps had already canceled. We held out hope because we know how hard it has been for our camp families, especially the children, to be in quarantine for the last 2+ months. We really wanted to be that ray of...

COVID-19 Update 5/22/2020

May 22, 2020

Dear Camp Regis Families, I hope you are all as well as can be under the current conditions. I wanted to send on update on the status of camp for this summer. We have been waiting to hear from the state of NY to learn a) whether camps will be allowed to run at all and b) if so, under what conditions and restrictions. Understandably, the state is taking a...

Staff Spotlight: Music Director, Isabella Baer Cortes

Oct 21, 2019

Once my daughter turned 11, I knew it was time for her to have the experience of her life at summer camp! We live in Mexico City, with all the hustle and bustle of a large complicated metropolis. Unfortunately, Mexico City is not the safest city to live in, which means our daily lives are limited to enclosed spaces. Life is comprised of home, school, and the mall. As a...

Summer 2019 Overview

Oct 12, 2019

We had a great summer in 2019! There were just over 70 campers in total over the six week season. We obtained our permit from the NY Department of Health in June and welcomed our first group of campers on June 30. We admitted a roughly equal mix of local day campers, and overnight campers. Some of the highlights in the first 3 weeks were climbing St. Regis, fireworks in...
