This summer was a strange one for us all. COVID-19 locked us into our houses and destroyed any plans we had for this summer.
For the past four months, we at Camp Regis Applejack have attempted to develop a way to safely run this summer despite the fact that the majority of our peer camps had already canceled. We held out hope because we know how hard it has been for our camp families, especially the children, to be in quarantine for the last 2+ months. We really wanted to be that ray of...
Dear Camp Regis Families, I hope you are all as well as can be under the current conditions. I wanted to send on update on the status of camp for this summer. We have been waiting to hear from the state of NY to learn a) whether camps will be allowed to run at all and b) if so, under what conditions and restrictions. Understandably, the state is taking a...
At this point in time we at Camp Regis Applejack are operating under the assumption that we will be able to operate our summer camp this upcoming summer 2020. We are preparing extra health and safety procedures to make sure that our campers, staff, and camp families are kept safe in this uncertain health crisis. We at CRAJ wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.

We obtained our permit from the NY Department of Health in June and welcomed our first group of campers on June 30. We admitted a roughly equal mix of local day campers, and overnight campers. Some of the highlights in the first 3 weeks were climbing St. Regis, fireworks in...
This past fall Associate Director Emily Yancey went on the American Camping Associations (ACA) Resident Camp Tours in Maine. This program was created and hosted by the ACA offices of New York, New Jersey, Maine, and New England. “The tour began Sept. 10 at girls’ camp Fernwood Cove in Harrison. The next day the group began at Camp Micah in Bridgton, followed by a tour and lunch at girls’ Camp...
The Athletics staff is looking forward to an active summer in a variety of acres, from soccer, softball, basketball, and volleyball to cricket, archery, and lacrosse.
