This has been an exciting and fun-filled summer for our Regis campers. From our youngest (4-1/2) to our oldest (12 year old) we experienced a incredible diversity in our camper group. We had campers from Kuwait, Japan, Mexico, French West Indies, Virgin Islands, Canada, Hong Kong, France, Puerto Rico, Congo, plus all around the United States. This certainly enhanced our summer experience to have the opportunity to interact with different cultures and personalities.
Besides the multitude of in-camp activities, our Regis campers ventured out of camp on several day trips. All campers experienced the joy of camping out-of-doors at least one night during their stay. We also journeyed with the entire Regis group to an exciting day at a water park (first half) and the Franklin County Fair (second half). Our oldest Regis campers, the Falcons, had the choice of the trip to the water park or a night baseball game in Montreal, Canada during the first half. On one rainy day we ventured out to the movies to see “Angels in the Outfield.” and on another we took the group roller-skating.
Throughout the summer we have had the pleasure of working with an exciting group of campers and an excellent staff. Thank you for a great summer and we look forward to seeing everyone next year.
Cris and Pete
